Although the air temperature is soaring to 100 degree these days, you can still feel the numbness of the water of the Boise River.
It’s been holding at about 53 degrees where I take the temperature just upstream from the Broadway Bridge in the tubing zone.
The reason the temperature is so cold is that the water coming into the river from Lucky Peak Reservoir is coming out of the bottom of the dam where it’s darn cold.
Enjoy the water in this hot weather. The lab is sure loving it.
