Zimo’s official Boise River temp: 52 degrees; look for snags

photoThe temperature of the Boise River is up a whopping 3 degrees from last week at 52 degrees.

I took the temperature at Municipal Park.

That’s still cold in anybody’s book but with skyrocketing temps this week, the water should feel good.

One caution: I was riding the Boise Greenbelt last night and noticed these three stumps in the water at Municipal Park.

It’s pretty easy to dodge them but floaters should just be aware of them. If you brush up against them, you could pop a tube.

Have fun floating. The flow is around 794 cfs, which is a good, mellow summer flow.
