Zimo’s Boise River temperature: 68 degrees

riverCan the river be 68 degrees? I took the water temperature with my official trout fishing thermometer and sure enough it was a refreshing temperature. It’s the highest it has been all summer.

Even though the folks at the tube rental at Barber Park have packed up and left, doesn’t mean the river isn’t great for floating.

The flow is around 650 cfs, which is still good for floating. It’s a little bumpy going over the diversions but there’s enough water to get down the river from Barber Park to Ann Morrison Park.

Afternoons are best with warm temperatures.

Have fun while the flow in the river lasts.
