Idaho Statesman columnist Tim Woodward’s love letter to Idaho won an Emmy Saturday. “Idaho, the movie” won an Emmy for best documentary-cultural.

In his column in November, Woodward said Wide Eye Productions came up with the idea for “Idaho, the Movie” and asked him to partner on the project.

“I was its writer and narrator, which proved to be an education — as well as the most fun I’ve had in some time,” Woodward wrote.

The team behind the film: Tom Hadzor, director/photographer; Jennifer Isenhart, producer; Bill Krumm, photographer/editor; Kevin Eslinger, photographer; Lana Tidwell, assistant producer. Interns/production assistants were Jana Good, Mack Lewis, Kearney Thompson and Will von Tagen.

The movie was nominated for three Emmy Awards: Tom Hadzor, Bill Krumm and Kevin Eslinger for photography; Bill Krumm for editing; and the whole team for documentary.
