CONTEST OVER: Win free tickets to the Franz Ferdinand concert at the Knitting Factory

Scottish quartet Franz Ferdinand will make its Boise debut at the Knitting Factory on April 23.

I have a pair of tickets to give away.

Here’s how to win ‘em:

Between now and 5 p.m. 11 a.m. April 18, correctly answer this question: What year was the band formed?

Email the answer to mdeeds@idahostatesman.com with your first and last name, which will be used at will call if you win. (I cannot change that name for you, so use the name of the person who will attend the show.) To qualify for the contest, you must type the phrase “KAPRANOS” in the subject line. One entry per person, please.

Using a random-number generator, I’ll pick a correct email then respond with the good news to the winner by April 21. Remember, if you didn’t win, you can still purchase tickets.
