CONTEST OVER: Win free tickets to John Nemeth and the Bo-Keys at the Egyptian Theatre

Screen shot 2014-03-20 at 11.46.38 AMBoise-turned-Memphis singer John Nemeth — the award-winning blues and soul man with the huge pipes and harmonica skills — is coming to the Egyptian Theatre on Saturday, March 29. Better yet, his backing band is the Bo-Keys featuring Percy Wiggins.

Wanna witness it? I have SIX pairs of tickets to give away. Here’s how to win a pair.

Between now and 9 a.m. next Wednesday, correctly answer this question: What high school did John graduate from in Boise?

Email the answer to mdeeds@idahostatesman.com with your first and last name, which will be used at will call if you win. To qualify for the contest, you must type the phrase “MEMPHIS GREASE” in the subject line. One entry per person, please.

Using a random-number generator, I’ll pick a correct email then respond with the good news March 27 to the winner.

Remember, if you aren’t lucky enough to win, you can always buy tickets.
