Whale of a tail

On the menu: H.J. took Jonah to Dairy Queen for a ¼lb bacon cheeseburger and fries

Notable: H.J. noted of all the dogs he’s taken to lunch Jonah has been the most laid-back

H.J. and Jonah enjoyed lunch at Ivy Wild Park. Jonah patiently waited for each bite and showed great self restraint sitting next to the Dairy Queen box! Jonah walked so nice on leash, he never pulled nor did he acknowledge other dogs when he passed them on the path. H.J. expected Jonah to be rambunctious and full of energy but instead he was very cool, calm and collected. While walking through the park Jonah and H.J. were charged by an 8lb barking Chihuahua. The dog got loose from its owner and was circling Jonah. Jonah was the perfect breed ambassador and ignored the little dog in fact he didn’t even bark back! The look on Jonah’s face was priceless he was quite confused by the Chihuahua’s actions.

Jonah is a neutered 3 year old American Pit Bull Terrier Mix. He is available for adoption at the Canyon County Animal Shelter. He does need a home without cats.
