Wanted: Your questions for KIVI superintendent debate

Official sign the election is near: debates.

I’ll be on a panel Wednesday with Kevin Richert from Idaho Education News and Don Nelson, and Michelle Edmonds from KIVI, quizzing Republican Superintendent of Public Instruction candidates.

Candidates Andy Grover, Melba superintendent; Randy Jensen, principal of an American Fall middle school; and Sherri Ybarra, director of curriculum and federal programs at Mountain Home School District, will be in the debate. John Eynon, a Cottonwood School District music teacher, will not be able to attend.

The On Your Side Republican State Superintendent Debate will air live at 6 p.m. Wednesday on KIVI Channel 6 and KSAW in Twin Falls and the Wood River Valley. The debate will be live on the web at idahoonyourside.com.

You can catch a replay at 4:30 p.m. May 3 on KNIN (Fox 9).

I am already working on my list of questions. You can, too. KIVI is looking for reader questions to ask the candidates. You can submit a question on KIVI’s Idaho On Your Side Facebook page. Or send a tweet using the hashtag IDOYS.
