Idahoan Laurel Lewis will be among the walk participants on Saturday. After experiencing several symptoms consistent with MS, and enduring many tests, Laurel was recently diagnosed with MS.
Laurel made the decision to turn her negative thoughts into only positive energy and she found that Walk MS has helped her with this goal.
“I had heard there was a Walk MS [event] years ago, but didn’t know what it meant,” said Laurel.
“I jumped right in with starting my own team and am really excited about Walk MS! That day has forever changed my life, I am finally coming out of my denial stage and ready to fight.”
