The Salute to Senior Service program honors contributions of seniors 65 and older who donate their time and talents to the community. It is sponsored by Home Instead, Inc.

Voting runs from April 15 to April 30.
Home Instead, Inc. will donate $500 to each of the state winners’ favorite nonprofit organizations and their stories will be posted on the Salute to Senior Service Wall of Fame. Additionally, $5,000 will be donated to the national winner’s nonprofit charity of choice.
Idaho’s 2012 winner: Wade Tombs of Coeur d’Alene. The 80-year-old works with many organizations, including St. Pius X Church, St. Vincent de Paul and the Humane Society.
