The Boise State football team retained its three points in The Associated Press Top 25 released Sunday.

Fresno State is tied for 27th, in others receiving votes, and could crack the Top 25 in time for its showdown with Boise State on Sept. 20.

The Broncos dropped from five points to two in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll. Fresno State also is 27th there.

Boise State’s poll performance (five total points) was its worst since getting two points Nov. 13, 2005.
