Video: ‘Club Rev’ dance party debuts at full throttle in Garden City

Hung over today? I know where you were last night.

“Club Rev,” the Revolution Center’s new weekly dance party, kicked off at full throttle.

The cut-down room — set up to be half the RevCenter’s normal size — reached its 1,200 capacity by 9:30 p.m. As the sweaty and spent exited, the eager and fresh were allowed to enter. Candyland, the first in a series of DJs booked to play every Thursday, cranked the tunes. (Next up Feb. 20: Coyote Kisses.)

Meanwhile, the mysterious “Revinator” appeared on stage and annihilated the room with fog.

Here’s a full schedule to upcoming DJs and other details about “Club Rev,”
