Sage Diehm, Skyview: The North Carolina commit pitched a no-hit shutout last week. Diehm, a junior, struck out 10 and walked one as the Hawks defeated Nampa 14-0 in five innings. He also finished the week 4-for-5 at the plate with a double, triple and one RBI.


Taurie Pogue, Mountain View: The Mavericks wrapped up the regular season as the No. 1 team in the 5A Southern Idaho Conference with victories against Boise, Capital and Meridian. Pogue, who has signed with Cal, went 5-for-8 at the plate with a double, triple, home run and three RBIs.


Madison Lung, Boise: The junior had a strong showing in the final meet before districts. Lung won the 200 meters in 25.77 seconds and the 400 meters in 57.80 seconds at the Boise City Meet at Bishop Kelly High. Lung’s 200 time is the fourth fastest in the state this season and her 400 ranks second, according to


Andrew Rafla, Timberline: The Boise State signee and reigning 5A state cross country champion clocked the No. 1 time in the state this season — and fifth fastest in the nation, according to — in the 1,600 meters. Rafla won the event in 4 minutes, 10.80 seconds.


Amy Agenbroad, Skyview: The Hawks’ No. 1 girls singles player closed out the 4A Southern Idaho Conference regular season with two victories. Agenbroad defeated Bre Lambson of Columbia 6-0, 6-1 and Noel Simmons of Middleton 6-1, 6-3.


John Lyons, Boise: The Braves’ No. 1 boys singles player finished the 5A Southern Idaho Conference regular season with a pair of wins. Lyons topped Ethan Dale of Vallivue 6-0, 6-0 and then beat Gunnar Dietsch of Eagle 6-0, 6-2.


Ryleigh Moore, Rocky Mountain: Moore carded a round of 72 at BanBury Golf Club to win the Eagle Invitational, which included a field of 11 teams. The Grizzlies also won the team title.


Graysen Huff, Eagle: The Mustangs continued their dominance of the 5A Southern Idaho Conference by winning their own Eagle Invitational. Huff led the way with his round of 70 at BanBury Golf Club.
