Many Treasure Valley residents were touched last week by the story of a Minnesota man who was reunited with his dog a year after the pup got away from him while passing through Boise. Read that story here.
I have more good news to share!
Linda and Byron Eveland, the Kuna couple who loved that dog but were happy to return him to his original family, have adopted a new dog. Actually, they have TWO new pups — Shadow, an 11-month-old female black lab, and Daisy, a 10-month-old female yellow lab.
“They met each other for the first time on Sunday and it has been play time ever since,” Linda Eveland said. “They get along great. They love stuffed animals but they don’t last too long.”
She said Daisy is quiet, but Shadow is “go, go, go.” The Evelands have another dog, a terrier mix named Pumpkin, one of the dogs rescued from a puppy mill in eastern Oregon about six years ago by the Idaho Humane Society.
