Two-day ‘Be the Match’ marrow donor drive in Boise starts Monday

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center and the Treasure Valley YMCA will host a marrow donor registry drive to raise awareness about the need for donors.

Organizers are also hoping to find a match for a 46-year-old Boise resident named Michaelle.

The first step to finding out if you (Valley residents age 18 to 44) might be able to save a life is to have a cheek swab. Have that done at the following times / locations:

- 7 a.m.-10 a.m. and 5 p.m.-9 p.m. Monday, Treasure Valley YMCA, 1150 W. State St., Boise

- 7 a.m.-10 a.m. and 5 p.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday, Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center, 1055 N. Curtis Road, Boise
