Trey McIntyre Project revs up for its next Boise show

I sat in on part of a Trey McIntyre Project rehearsal today for the company’s Feb. 16 concert at the Morrison Center. I saw two pieces — “Queen of the Goths,” a seven-minute character study of Tamora, Queen of the Goths from Shakespeare’s “Titus Andronicus,” and a new piece created in Boise, “Pass, Away” to music by Richard Strauss.

As always it’s fun to watch the rehearsal process as choreography gets tweaked and massaged into shape.
