Two town hall meetings about the privatization of housing at Mountain Home Air Force Base are planned for Thursday, July 11, at the Gunfighter Service Center on base. They will run from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 7 p.m.
MHAFB Vice Commander Col. Byron Anderson and Mission Support Group Commander Col. Steven Griswold — and representatives from Balfour Beatty Communities, LLC — will be on hand to explain the plans for base housing and answer questions about the process.
BBC, a subsidiary of Balfour Beatty Investments Inc., is privatizing the housing at Mountain Home Air Force Base and five other bases — Cannon AFB, N.M.; Grand Forks AFB, Minot AFB and Cavalier AFS, N.D. and Ellsworth AFB, S.D.
