Timberline High’s Hill done for season

Defensive end Don Hill, a Washington football commit, told the Idaho Statesman he had surgery Tuesday on his ruptured right Achilles tendon.

The injury occurred last Friday when Hill was coming off the line against Capital.

Hill, who is 6-foot-4 and 235 pounds, said recovery will take between seven and 12 months, and Washington is on board with helping him make a complete recovery.

Although he was bummed about the injury, Hill seemed in good spirits Friday and said he planned to attend the Wolves’ game against Borah at Dona Larsen Park.
