Ticket alert: Concerts, events going on sale Friday in Boise

Update: Imagine Dragons tickets went on sale this morning at 10 a.m. via presale. Promo code: KFACTORY

Considering that I already pointed out the steep price hike from the last time gifted guitarist Joe Bonamassa visited (depending on the seat, more than double to nearly quadruple), it seems only fair to check out the cost of Imagine Dragons returning to town less than eight months after they performed at the Idaho Botanical Garden. (With “Radioactive” now virtually inescapable on TV and radio, they gotta strike when the iron’s hot, baby.) The group’s sold-out spectacle in May ran concertgoers $33 (plus fees, of course). This time, the Dragons will offer tiered pricing that ranges from $29.50 to $45. If you were cool enough to be an early Dragons adopter, you caught their $20 gig at the Knitting Factory in 2012 when they toured in support of Awolnation. But I’ll bet that opening-act stage show in a club wasn’t quite the same.

Here’s the round-up of major events going on sale tomorrow:

  • Reverend Horton Heat: 8 p.m. Jan. 5, Knitting Factory, 416 S. 9th St., Boise. $13. TicketWeb. $16 day of show. Opening: Jello Biafra and Old Man Markley. On sale at 10 a.m. Oct. 11
