Three Boiseans claimed scratch game prizes on Tax Day

Boisean Rocky Hansen is $100,000 richer.

After work Saturday, Hansen purchased a Super Star Word O’Rama scratch game at a Jacksons store at 897 Cole Road.

“I stopped in to get a few things for the next morning and the clerk asked me if I needed anything else.  I said ‘Yes, how about $100,000?’ Hansen told Idaho Lottery officials.

“Turns out, I got what I wanted!”Hansen plans to buy a new vehicle and invest the remainder of his winnings. He won the last top prize for the scratch game Super Star Word O’ Rama.

Two other Boiseans — Sue McCool and Horst Moll — claimed the last top prize, $50,000, for the scratch game Bubble Gum Big Bingo.

They bought their winning game ticket Sunday night at the Albertsons on Federal Way. The friends are avid travelers and plan to use their winnings to visit family in Europe.
