Updated: The Lumineers to play (free?) concert in Boise (er, Garden City)

Folk-rock band The Lumineers are officially confirmed as the big act performing May 28 at the Revolution Center.

It’s part of the Yahoo on the Road tour, which means (cue groans) … nope, Justin Timberlake is not coming to town as previously hinted.

The Lumineers are a major act to be playing a 2,200-capacity concert club, not to mention free. Details aren’t yet available regarding how tickets will be distributed. In fact, Yahoo on the Road hasn’t mentioned anything about this being free at all. But, from what I understand, that will be the case. Also in the From What I Understand Category, British singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding will perform at the concert, too. Update: Or maybe not. Despite what I’ve been told, I’m backtracking a few steps on this, considering that she’s confirmed for shows in the U.K. on both May 26 and June 1.

In other words, the only thing actually confirmed is that: 1) The Lumineers are coming May 28 to Boise.

I’m telling you that I suspect: 1) It actually will be Garden City; 2) free; 3) with Ellie Goulding.
