Tennis (ball), anyone? Meet Bodie, Meridian shelter’s dog of the week

Bodie is an affectionate 7-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who has the enthusiasm of a puppy. He’s always ready to play — throw a ball, and he’ll happily fetch.Bodie 1

He knows tricks, including sit, rollover and shake, and he’ll work for treats. When it comes to walking on leash, he likes to take the lead. He follows his nose, sniffing everything in sight.

Bodie, who hasn’t been neutered, is up-to-date on his shots. He’s house- and kennel-trained, but it’s unknown how he is around cats or other dogs.
