On the Menu: Hamburger Jeff took Leo out for an “All American” lunch, an all beef hot dog with mustard from the Costco food court.
After lunch: Once he got out of the car at Ann Morrison Park Leo was quick to drop to the ground to roll in the grass as if he were doing a “happy dance” on his back. Then he’d roll over and army crawl before coming to a stop to look around the park. He did the stop, drop, and roll numerous times on his walk. “I don’t understand why this boy hasn’t been adopted,” said H.J. “He’s such a nice dog.”
A description of Leo from IHS:
Meet Love-A-Bull Leo. One look into his soulful brown eyes and you will fall in love. Tempt him with a treat and he will be happy to sit, down, rollover or shake. Leo loves toys and is a silly boy when he’s in the exercise yard. He loves to roll around on his back and then army crawl through the grass! Leo is house trained and rides well in a car. He enjoys long walks and will need daily exercise in his new home. He has potential to be a great buddy and companion for a family with children who will respect him and give him plenty of affection along with keeping up on his training. He needs to be an indoor dog with a fenced yard for playtime. He may knock little children down, so always supervise. Please introduce him carefully on leash since he can bark and be manner less when meeting other dogs. Leo was surrendered when his family couldn’t keep him. His previous family says he was good with kids of all ages, he loved to ride in the truck and described him as very playful and loveable.
Leo is available for adoption at the Idaho Humane Society
