SNIP’s free Big Bun (for the Easter Bunny) Black Dog Walk is Sunday, April 13, 2014 at noon. Meet at the grassy area in front of the east parking lot of the The Boise Ram, 709 E Park Blvd.
All colors of dogs, it’s your lucky day to walk along the Boise River and help bring awareness to the plight of black dogs and cats in shelters, a phenomenon known as the Black Dog Syndrome. Over 50 percent of the population in shelters are often black dogs and cats, and for some reason they are usually the last ones to be adopted causing them to sometimes to be the first to be euthanized.
Along with the leisure walk enjoy paw stomping tunes by Ted Coe, free dog training tips from Bad Behavior/Good Dog and a free raffle with a chance to win 3 days at Camp Bow Wow and great prizes from H3 Pet Foods.
