South Fork Boise River Road partially reopens

Here’s the latest from inciweb.org if you want to see what the South Fork of the Boise River looks like.”Recent mud slides have been partially cleared. Slides at Granite Creek and Rough Creek have been cleared and the South Fork Boise River road is now open from Highway 20 junction via the Cow Creek Road across the Cow Creek Bridge and then west towards Praire. The SF Boise River road is closed east of Cow Creek Bridge to the Anderson Ranch Dam and the Anderson Dam road is closed at the Highway 20 junction according to Mountain Home Highway District.”

Remember only the road is open. You can’t get off the road and down to the river. The Forest Service still has the area closed for public safety because of hazards from burned trees and recent mud slides.
