‘SNIP,’ (aka Spay Neuter Idaho Pets) hosts a fundraiser

The “SPAY” ghetti No Balls fundraiser promises to be a great time for a good cause.
SNIP (Spay Neuter Idaho Pets, Inc.) has scheduled its sixth annual fundraiser for Sunday, March 16 at the Riverside Hotel. The upscale spaghetti feed is the local non-profit’s biggest (and arguably) most fun event of the year, and 100 percent of the proceeds benefit SNIP’s spay/neuter programs.
In addition to the spaghetti feed (with or without meatballs), the event will feature live and silent auctions, live music by Blaze-N-Kelly and will be hosted by Alana & Randy from WOW 104.3 FM.
One of SNIP’s signature events — the dessert dash — also is a part of the festivities. There’s nothing like watching people making a mad dash to pick out the dessert they would like to enjoy after their spaghetti feast. It’s all in good fun —
and for a good cause. Did you know that more than 50 percent of the individuals who contact SNIP could not afford the low-cost spay/neuter services that SNIP provides. This event provides the financial assistance to help solve our area’s over-population problem and helps reduce the number of unwanted cats and dogs.
Tickets for the “SPAY” ghetti No Balls event are on sale now. They can be purchased for $40 or $300 for a table of eight. Tickets are available online at www.snipidaho.org or at H3 Pet Foods, 1801 W. Cherry Lane, Meridian. This fundraiser will run from 5 to 9 p.m. and is for adults 18 and older. A no host bar is available.
For more information on this event or to donate items for the live and silent auctions, contact SNIP at snipit@snipidaho.org.
