On the menu: Carlyle enjoyed a bacon cheeseburger and fries with ranch dipping sauce from Bad Boy Burgers
Notable: Carlyle had a funny way of eating his burger, he would separate the bun and eat the meat first.
H.J. and Carlyle enjoyed lunch on a bench in the Rose Garden at Julia Davis Park. This boy loves his ranch sauce, he wouldn’t eat the fries without it! He’s goofy when he eats he likes to smack his lips. In between bites H.J. noticed Carlyle’s left lip has a tendency to rest on his tooth creating an endearing snaggletooth. After lunch they enjoyed a quiet walk and sat on the bank of the river watching the ducks. “He’s such a sweet boy.” said H.J. “He’s been at the shelter for a long time, I’d really like to see him find a good home.”
More about Carlyle from CCAS:
Carlyle is a very handsome one and a half year old Pit Bull mix. This young guy is energetic, fun and very observant of everything going on around him. His former owners said that he is not good with cats or other dogs, but reported him great with children. He likes toys and knows how to sit and lie down on command. He seems highly intelligent, so further training would be very rewarding for him as well as his new people. Carlyle is able to jump up and over a 6 foot chain link fence, so his ideal living situation would be a tall fence or lots of walks and a very observant owner, NOT chained in a yard. Most importantly, his new home would supply him with a lot of love. He has a lot to give back!
