Bruce D. Skaug, candidate for Nampa City Council seat 6 has received the backing of Rep. Brent Crane (R-Nampa).
Crane is the Idaho Legislature’s assistant majority leader and vice president of Crane Alarm Services, a Nampa-based family business. Crane also has served on the Nampa Chamber of Commerce executive board.
“I am proud to support Bruce Skaug for Nampa City Council,” said Crane in a press release. “Bruce and I share the same philosophy regarding government. Bruce will work to lower taxes and fight to protect our way of life. Please join me in supporting Bruce Skaug for Nampa City Council.”

Skaug faces two challengers, Jeff Kirkman and Darryl Speiser, in the race for the newly created city council seat.
Election day is Nov. 5. Early and absentee voting and absentee starts Oct. 15.
