Ready for some electronic footwarmers?

Heated Insoles Low Res 1
Thermacell Heated Insoles foot warmers make some high-tech toasty toes. It’s one of those outdoors gadgets I see in August and think, “Why?” Then weather like this comes along and they start looking pretty good.

For $130, you get heated insoles that fit inside your shoes and use a remote control to set them to medium or high temperatures. When your feet are warm, you can turn them off with a remote that easily fits into your pocket.

“They maintain a steady temperature inside your shoes or boots, keeping your feet around normal body temperature, as opposed to chemical foot-warming pads that get hot to the touch and can make your feet sweat,” the manufacturer says.

Powered by rechargeable, built-in lithium-ion polymer batteries embedded in the foot warmer, insoles can run continuously up to 5 hours and recharges in 3 hours. They work in damp or dry environments, can be used in boots, shoes or waders and come in a broad range of sizes for men and women. The insoles can also be trimmed to exact perfect fit.
