Rapper Hopsin lines up Garden City gig

Hip-hop and EDM seem to be the preferred music genres at the Revolution Center — and why not? They sell.

The latest up-and-comer on the books is rapper Hopsin, who will perform at 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014 — wearing his freaky contact lenses, one must assume.

With a stamp of approval from Eminem and a profanity-packed new album, “Knock Madness,” on the streets, Hopsin is heating up at just the right time for his Treasure Valley gig. Openers include DJ Hoppa and yet-to-be-named guests from the Funk Volume music label.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for $20 general admission, $40 VIP, $50 meet and greet, at Ticketfly.

Warning: profanity
