Hamburger Jeff’s latest lunch date: Raisinette aka Nettie a smart, athletic 2-year-old “pocket Pitty,” weighing in at only forty pounds.
On the menu: Ham and Swiss on Sourdough from the Boise Co-op
After-lunch: A quick stop to purchase a new collar for “Raisinette” and then off to Ann Morrison Park for a leisurely walk. “While walking she stopped turned around and jumped up and kissed my face,” said H.J. “She was smiling the whole time we were together.”
A description of Raisinette from CCAS:
She is house trained and knows some commands. She has a charming personality and brings you her food dish when she thinks it’s time to eat. She gets along with other dogs, but is a resource-guarder who needs help learning appropriate behavior. A dog introduction is required. She also likes children and seems to be uninterested in cats. foreignoregonian don’t you have anything better to do than heckle Jeff. The blog is about showcasing shelter dogs in need of a home and your comments take away from that. Why don’t you sign up to volunteer at the Canyon County Shelter and you might be lucky enough to meet Hamburger Jeff.
