Drop-in sessions meet from 9:30-10:15 a.m. or 10:30-11:15 a.m. Fee is $6.50, which includes instruction and materials for parent and child. An adult is required to participate in this hands-on lesson.

Art Center Director Chris Kranz said his goal is provide families with affordable and accessible high-quality art instruction. He believes that starting early will help kids develop lifetime skills.

“As young students create art, they develop their fine-motor and problem-solving skills in addition to learning how to create and express themselves in creative ways,” said Kranz.

The Fort Boise Art Center offers classes for children and adult in painting, drawing, ceramics, photography, enameling, mosaics and other art forms.
