Pop-rock band fun. to gig in Boise in August

The Idaho Botanical Garden and promoter Knitting Factory are getting a jump on the summer concert competition.

Today, the outdoor music collaborators announced an Outlaw Field show at the Garden: New York-based pop-rock band Fun. at 7 p.m. Aug. 28. Tickets are $35 and go on sale at noon Feb. 15 at TicketWeb.

Tegan and Sara will open.

With hits such as “We are Young” and “Some Nights,” it’s been a huge past 12 months for Fun. They’re definitely the band to beat at the Grammy Awards on Sunday.
