Concerts: Rascal Flatts is headed to Nampa, Gregg Allman is headed to Boise

The latest: Country band Rascal Flatts, which will perform Aug. 7 at Ford Amphitheater in Nampa.

Rascal Flatts hasn’t visited the Treasure Valley since 2009 — and they’ve never performed outdoors here. The last time they visited Nampa, they attracted more than 8,000 fans.

Tickets go on on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for $45 lawn, $65 reserved seat, at ICTickets. The music will start at 7:30 p.m. Two opening acts will be added to the bill, but they haven’t been released yet.

In other concert news, Gregg Allman is headed to the Morrison Center for a 7 p.m. show July 1. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for $34.50-$65 at BoiseStateTickets.

Allman announced recently that the Allman Brothers Band would split up this year.
