The wave shapers are pushing flows into the right places and two nice waves have formed. Several hearty surfers were giving it a try on Tuesday, and kayakers were on their way. They don’t mind a little wet, chilly weather. They’re used to it.
When the sun comes out, the park is going to be a cool hang out for folks. It’s always fun to watch the kayakers, surfers and body boarders shredding the waves. The waves should keep looking like this as long as the river remains at 1,800 cfs.
