Take a drive north to McCall on Idaho 55 and the lack of snow is surprising. This fence line should be buried in snow and the grass is already showing. It looks more like late March or early April in Long Valley.

In some areas of south-central Idaho in January we only got 50 percent of normal at 6,000 feet in elevation. February has been skimpy too.
