Northwest snowboard company keeps its manufacturing at home

You may or may not have heard about Mervin Manufacturing, but you’ve probably heard of their snowboards, which include Libtech and Gnu. Mervin is a company that deserves your attention for the way it does business. They build snowboards in Washington and do all they can to make the process as nonpolluting as possible. My take home from this story in Adventure Journal that the cost of building a snowboard in America and doing it in an environmentally friendly manner is $20 to $50 per board. Seems like a fair price to me. Read it here.
