Boise’s Camp Bow Wow is expanding to West Ada County, opening a new facility at 2134 E. Franklin Road in Meridian.
A ribbon cutting will be held at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, March 5.
Public grand opening celebrations are also scheduled for 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 9, and 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 6. The public is invited to tour the facility. Prizes will be raffled off.
Camp Bow Wow offers day camp and overnight boarding. The facility has indoor and outdoor play yards, which are monitored by Red Cross certified camp counselors. Pets may be checked on remotely via Web cameras.
An online benefit auction for Meridian Valley Animal Shelter, Spay Neuter Idaho Pets and Fuzzy Pawz Rescue kicks off Saturday, March 9, and can be accessed on that date on Camp Bow Wow’s Web site.
