Bruce D. Skaug, candidate for Nampa City Council Seat 6, has received the backing of former Idaho Attorney General and Lieutenant Governor, David H. Leroy.
In 1990 President George H. W. Bush appointed Leroy to be the first United States Nuclear Waste Negotiator.
Leroy, who now practices law, notes Skaug’s commitment to fiscal conservatism, family values, and legal training in his endorsement.
“The city of Nampa would be superbly served with Bruce Skaug on the Council! Fiscal conservatism, family orientation, law training and community commitment do count,” said Leroy in a press release.
Skaug has identified responsible fiscal conservatism as a major part of his vision for the city of Nampa and welcomes the support from Lt. Governor David H. Leroy.
