More details about that free Lumineers concert

As I reported a few weeks ago, The Lumineers and Dispatch are headed to the Revolution Center in Garden City for a free concert May 28. It’s part of a Yahoo on the Road promotional tour happening this spring.

Yahoo hasn’t exactly been a fountain of details about the show. In fact, they still haven’t copped to the venue. (Trust me: It’s the Revolution Center.) However, I did get an email from a publicist today shining a teensy weensy bit more light on how fans will be able to get tickets.

Yahoo! On the Road – the mobile entertainment festival – is coming to Boise on Tuesday, May 28 with a free performance by The Lumineers, Grammy nominated for Best New Artist, and indie roots/rock band, Dispatch. Also at the Boise stop will be comedian Adam Ray, Chef Fabio Viviani, former Top Chef Contestant host of Yahoo!’s Chow Ciao!, and in-demand DJ Michelle Pesce. The tour hosted by entertainment insider, Ben Lyons, is zigzagging across America with rotating talent in different cities looking to stop you in your tracks.

For each concert, Yahoo! On the Road will provide tickets to fans using Yahoo! products at the designated bus stop in each city.  Getting a ticket will be as easy as taking a photo with Flickr or downloading the new Yahoo! Weather app. Details will be revealed throughout the tour via the Yahoo! On the Road  site and on Twitter at @YahooOntheRoad.
