In this first-ever Meridian Valley Humane Society Pet of the Week, we actually have three pets to highlight.
Meet Comet, Cupid and Dasher — all 12-week-old female Border Collie mixes.
They were part of a litter of eight puppies; the mother and other puppies have been adopted. These sweet pups are full of energy and have had their first shots.
The volunteer-run shelter is at 191 N. Linder Road in Meridian.
Looking to adopt a dog? The shelter is open seven days a week. Hours are: Noon to 4 p.m. Saturday-Monday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, and 2 p.m.-6 p.m Fridays, or by appointment (794-0944). The cost is $85 for dogs, $95 for puppies, and that includes spay/neuter and vaccination. The shelter, supported by 50 volunteers, promotes adoptions through its Facebook and its Web site, meridianvalleyhumanesociety.org.
