Love holiday tree lightings? Here’s another one for you…this time at BSU

The inaugural Boise State Holiday Tree Lighting kicks off an evening of holiday celebration on the Boise State University campus at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 8.
A new campus holiday tradition, the tree lighting ceremony will be held on the Quad in the center of campus. It will feature an appearance from Buster Bronco, holiday music from the Boise State Meistersingers, hot chocolate and lots of Bronco spirit.
Everyone is welcome to this free event and non-perishable food items for donation to the Idaho Food Bank will also be collected. The Boise State Alumni Association, Boise State President’s Club and the Bronco Athletic Association are sponsoring the event.
The public tree lighting ceremony will be held in advance of the Boise State annual Family Holiday Concert, which begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Morrison Center Main Hall. Tickets for the concert are $10 general, $8 seniors, $2 children and non-Boise State students at the Morrison Center Box Office, select Bronco Shops, online at boisestatetickets.com or by phone at (208) 426-1110.
