On the menu: H.J. took Lady to Wendy’s for a bacon cheese burger and French fries
Notable: Lady is one of only a few dogs that has been willing to eat fries without ketchup
H.J. and Lady enjoyed lunch under a tree at the McDevitt Sports Complex. Lady was happy to roll around in the grass and immediately came to a rest in the frog dog position. She was very polite and surprisingly calm as she waited for her lunch. She was willing to perform commands such as sit, shake, and down. After spending the afternoon with Lady H.J. said, “Don’t let her name fool you she is still very much a pup but she is well on her way to becoming a lady!”
After Lunch: H.J. and Lady enjoyed a walk through the park and Lady got to run the bases in the baseball field. She approached the pond with no hesitation and walked right in to get a drink.
More about Lady from the Idaho Humane Society
Lady is an energetic and enthusiastic girl! She is still a puppy with great potential, and loves to play with toys and balls. She seems to enjoy affection, and would do well in a home with older children and firm, fair guidance. She would do best in a home with other dogs confident enough to correct her for her puppy antics. She may pick at less assertive and small dogs, so make sure your pooch can handle this energetic young pup! With some training and attention, Lady would be a great companion! Lady is 7 months old.
If you would like to meet Lady please visit her at the Enhanced Adoption Center located inside of Petsmart on Milwaukee and Franklin.
