It’s great hiking and bird watching along the Snake River

The Snake River Canyon at Celebration Park, south of Nampa,  and in the Morley Nelson Birds of Prey National Conservation Area, south of Kuna, is ideal for hiking and bird watching this time of the year.

Today (Feb. 21) there’s no wind and the temps are mild in the 40s.

Trail and road conditions are fairly dry and make for easy hiking and mountain biking. It’s the perfect place for a picnic.

It might be a good weekend getaway, that’s if the snow storm predicted isn’t too bad.
