Idaho Fish and Game stocks 40,000 trout

troutFishing season’s heating up with Idaho Fish and Game stocking more than 40,000 pan-size rainbow trout in waters around Southwest Idaho during April.
Here’s the scoop on where the fish trucks are heading:
Boise River  (above Glenwood Bridge) – April 8, 1,700.
Boise River (below Glenwood Bridge) -  April 8,  1,150.
Caldwell Pond No. 2 -   April 8,  450.

Duff Lane Pond (Middleton) – April 8,   225.

Fish and Game says the  number of trout actually released may be altered by weather, water conditions, equipment problems or schedule changes. If delays occur, trout will be stocked when conditions become favorable.
