Idaho filmmaker brings a new project to the state

Idaho filmmaker Michael Gough will direct and shoot his next project in the Treasure Valley in July.

“Let it Flow,” a musical comedy about a young musician who wants a shot at the big time, features a cast of young talent, including Jessica Harthcock, who has appeared on “American Idol” in the “Ender’s Game” with Harrison Ford that is due out in November.

Gough grew up in Kuna. His first feature “Autumn Angel” premiered to a sold out crowd at the Egyptian Theatre in 2006. He also has made several documentaries, including “America’s Core,” about the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps, and “Dying Famous” about a rock band’s first tour and performance at Los Angeles’ fabled Whiskey A Go Go.
