Milk Producers of Idaho Endorses Congressman Simpson (Boise, Idaho): The Board of Directors of the Milk Producers of Idaho formally endorsed Congressman Mike Simpson in his re-election bid today. Tena Petter, Chair of the Milk Producers of Idaho, stated “MPI is proud to support and endorse Congressman Simpson for another term. Idaho needs a representative in Congress who understands Agriculture and will take a business approach to solving the difficult issues that face the Country, the State of Idaho and the Idaho Dairy industry.”

The MPI Board commends Congressman Simpson for his conservative approach to budget matters, his reasonable approach to immigration reform and his efforts to rein in the EPA’s over-regulation of agriculture.

“Idaho benefits greatly from Congressman Simpson’s strong conservative and common sense approach to government,” said Board member Adrian Kroes. “The Milk Producers of Idaho encourages everyone involved with agriculture in the state to support Congressman Simpson in Primary election on May 20, 2014.”
