Ads for Idaho 2d congressional district candidates are coming fast now as Idaho’s May 20 Republican primary approaches.
Challenger Bryan Smith, an Idaho Falls attorney, released a new TV ad Thursday, its second such release this week. Not to be outspent, incumbent Mike Simpson’s campaign, which has deeper pockets, announced the release of its own TV ad, featuring Mitt Romney, Wednesday.

Idaho Falls, ID – Today Bryan Smith’s campaign released a new television ad “My Husband.” The significant ad buy is running in the Twin Falls and Idaho Falls media markets.
“With all the mud being thrown by the Simpson campaign, we want to remind voters of the true person Bryan Smith is. He is first and foremost a man of faith as well as a husband and father. He is active in the LDS church and in his community of Idaho Falls. Idaho deserves a true conservative like Bryan to fight for them in Washington instead of an out-of-touch DC insider like Congressman Simpson,” says Smith campaign manager, Carrie Brown.
