Humane Lobby Day will run from noon to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at the Idaho State Capitol (Room WW 17). The public is invited to participate, and those who are new to the process are welcome.
The one-day event is organized by The Humane Society of the United States. The goal is to help connect the public with elected officials, highlight animal welfare issues and discuss proposed legislation.
Participants will meet Idaho Representative Ken Andrus, who is chairman of the House Agriculture Committee. Have questions, e-mail Kauffman at The Humane Society of the United States, firstname.lastname@example.org
