Hooters for Neuters event Oct. 30 aims to prevent pet overpopulation

Well, the name ought to grab a few people.

Spay and Neuter Idaho Pets, or SNIP , is teaming up with Hooters on an event aimed at raising money for a low-cost spay and neuter program.

The restaurant at 8000 W. Franklin Road will donate $1 for every bottle of beer sold between noon and 10 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30. There will be raffles all afternoon, and one of the items that will be raffled is a 58-inch by 72-inch quilt. Raffle tickets will be $10, or three for $25.

Raffle tickets can be purchased online at snipidaho.org (you don’t have to be present to win).
